MY WEEKEND HOLDS......

My weekend is going to contain alot. First off I've got my sister, Remington, birthday to go to. She is turning 3 and this will be the first birthday of hers that I go to. Her first one was when I lived in Washington state. Second, I didnt get told about it till the day before and we had made plans for that day.

Then the next day is my brother, Andrew's, birthday. This will be his first and I hope he loves it just as much as we want him to.

Then on Monday, my family is going to Louisville to the water front to take family pics for our summer pics, facebook pics, and my blog pics. That night we are going to the OLD SPEGHETTIE FACTORY for supper. We found that we liked the place in Washington state while down at the ocean front.

We miss being able to go to the ocean front almost every weekend, so we are going to pretend that the water front is the ocean front and that we are back in Washington, or at least I am.

I hope my weekend is as much fun as it sounds. Well, wish me luck. :)

This Weekend!!!

This weekend was awesome. We had everything planned to where we was going to go to the lake and get some rocks and when we got home we were going to paint them and put them in Memaw's flower bed.

When my aunts and their children got here we went out back for a little while to let the babys run around before we went to the lake. After a while out back it was finnaly time to go to the lake.

When we got to the lake you could see how low the water has gotten. It looked like you could litteraly walk across the water and it come no higher than your knees. We didnt see any ducks to feed so we went to Alligator Dock 2.

We played at the park for a little while and then headed down the hill to see if we could find any ducks. My youngest cousin got stuck in the mud and strted to sink. He started crying so I went to help. When we got out, we were all muddy. i was muddy up to myv ankles. We ended up walking for a while so that way after we rinsed our feet we wouldnt get mud back on them.

We walked for a while and my Memaw thought she saw one. She went to it to throw some bread to try to get it come to us, when she did, she found out that it was a plastic duck.

Then on Sunday, we cleaned the vehicles. I got soaked doing so. It was fun though. anyways, this has been one of the best weekends ever.

fighting Hurricane Irene!

Everyone knows about the hurricanes going through the atlantic coast. Mostly bad. The name of this specific hurricane, is Hurricane Irene.

People through out the atlantic coast are in much danger. some people have died. many others, injured.  The electricity goes out,  food gets wet  and soggy, and many more problems when a hurricane decides to pop up.

People are getting ready for a fight for their lives. Going to stores and buying water and canned foods that you can eat cold. Blankets for warmth, coolers to keep the food they have cold, and tents for shelter. Most people try to drive as far away as possible. It's not that easy for others.

If everyone would pray for the people who have to go through this, I think that would mean alot to them all.

All about today!

Today's been a wonderful day. Got asked how i type so fast by a kid in computer applications. All i could say is " it's something that comes naturally. no one can teach you how to type fast." He said "Oh."


I had the best day ever. hopefully tomorrow will be just as much fun!!!

What's up today!!!

Today Mrs. clement brought in a pregnat praying mantis! The praying matis is supposed to lay its eggs in about 2 days! I can't wait to see them!!!!

Also, about bugs, we have three grasshoppers, another praying mantis and a huge horned beetle. We can do research on the beatle and get  points on our lowest grade. Im hoping that if i do resaerch on the grasshoppers and praying matises that I could get even more points.

Exchange student?

Today my mom told me that I got invited to go fto another country as an exchange student. I want to go but then again I'm scared to go. You have to go to another country without your family for 9 weeks. I am not about to leave my family that long.

I was told it might be better if i waited till i was 16 or something so that i am not as yooung. I thought about that, and said i probably would. But if i did it now, i wouldnt be able to get on the plane. I think it would be fun to go to another country but then you run the risk of the family either not liking you or you not liking them.

That's the thoughts for today!!!

Todays the big day!! The first upwards soccer game of the year. I'm on the Avengers team and we are going to kick the other teams butt!!!!!!!!!!!

Today's Thoughts!!!

Today's thoughts?  Well, there was a lot of blonde moments. Like, I had my pencil in my hand and still couldnt find it. I ended up finding it when I put it down on the desk to look in my backpack. HAHA that's funny.

so, anyways, im new to this whole blog thing so it might take me a while to figure it out. still don't know what to say on a blog.  If anyone has any ideas, please comment.

"Shay's Thoughts for the Hour" is a blog that you can get most of Shay's thoughts almost every day.  One hour I can be happy, the next I can be mad at the world, but hey, I'm a teenager and I'm a girl, so it's allowed.

Today my thoughts go toward living life to the fullest.  It is easier said than done, but sometime in the future I hope to be able to say, yes, I have lived life to the fullest.
